See the work About me

The trajectory shown here comes from the same generator I used on a physical FANUC robot. Solid strokes are pen-down writing moves; the dashed lines are the pen travelling between them. In the workshop, the robot followed that same sequence with a real pen and wrote the text on paper.

FANUC Text-to-Trajectory Writing Robot

Individual project · Neksus Endüstriyel Otomasyon, İzmir · Jun to Jul 2026

A Python generator with no third-party dependencies turns typed text into FANUC robot positions and a motion program, with an SVG preview to check before anything reaches the machine. The robot wrote the result on paper after I put a spring in the pen holder.

VR Prosodic Speech Analysis System

Python engine and API · Personal project · 2026

A Python engine records speech inside a VR exercise, transcribes it, extracts six prosodic features and scores them against the speaker's own calm and high-urgency references. A FastAPI service connects it to the Quest headset. The part I care about most is when it refuses to score.

İzmir Reservoir and Water Consumption Forecasting

Data preparation, modelling and evaluation · Team project · internship · Aug 2025

Consumption, reservoir levels, production and weather for İzmir, 2015 to 2024, merged into one monthly table with its provenance recorded in the data itself. Simple regularised regression forecast reservoir occupancy more accurately than the tree ensembles we tried against it.

F1 Race Result Prediction

Data pipeline, model and application · Self-directed, during a data-analysis internship · Aug 2025

Seventy-five years of Formula 1 results prepared into race-grouped training data, with rolling driver and team form built so that no race can see its own result. A LightGBM ranking model predicts finishing order for a grid entered by hand, served as a Streamlit application.

These are builds I am working on now. Nothing here has been completed or measured yet, and the targets are what the work is aimed at.

Concept illustration of a planned five-axis robot arm with graphite ribbed links and yellow covers, a rotating base, shoulder and elbow joints, and a compact tool flange at the wrist.

Low Cost Industrial Robot Arm

Personal project · Sep 2026

A 5-axis robot arm designed from scratch around a ~€200 hardware target. The goal is not simply to make an arm that moves, but to see how far careful mechanical design, low backlash, calibration and control can push repeatability at low cost.

Local-First Engineering Assistant

Personal project · Sep 2026

A local-first AI assistant for engineering and everyday computer work. The idea is to pair a compact local model with Python tools, file retrieval, web research and controlled computer access. Stronger cloud models get used only when the local system genuinely needs help.

Local model · Tool use · Controlled cloud fallback

Architecture research and planning · local model, tool system and hardware options being evaluated

  • I test things on the real machine

Simulation and physical commissioning are different problems. I plan the cell in RoboGuide, then go and fix what the real setup breaks.

  • I try to fix problems in the right place

The writing robot’s line was failing on contact. Tighter software calibration was not going to fix it, so I put a spring in the pen holder and let the tool absorb the error.

  • I only report numbers I can back up

I would rather a system return nothing than return a number it cannot justify. If a feature carries no signal, dropping it is a normal outcome.
